A Bus with Purified Air for Passengers
Polluted air is a major health hazard in developing / developed countries. Air pollution is responsible for the growing high rate of incidences of cardiopulmonary and respiratory diseases, coughing, bronchitis, and lung cancer, as well as premature deaths from these diseases resulting from elevated concentrations of ambient Particulate Matter.
Gun-woong Kim and Su-ji Kim designers from Korea, have designed “PURES,” a city bus with air purification system. A great thought and act of benevolence for bus commuters. PURES is limo type double decker bus and can be used as airport limo bus, or city tour limo bus.
Air intakes are in front of the bus , that filters dust and other pollutants to provide clean air inside the bus.The air intake units, automatically close when the bus stops and open when bus starts.
The intake unit is attached in front of the bus inhales pollutants and dust through the filter and exhales clean air in side the bus.Side frame contains intake and outtake filter with air cleaner sensor and LED graphic device unit.
“PURES” engine uses electronic battery and energy for air cleaner unit, that is charged by solar panel installed on the roof of the bus.
