Custom Built Wooden Bicycle Created from Salvaged Trees
A wooden bike probably isn’t on everyone’s wish list, but this handcrafted cruiser created by Masterworks must be seen. Masterworks create rides with wood salvaged from condemned or dying city trees in Bay Area communities. The cycle’s frame was made from a combination of mahogany and maple. The use of wood to make a bike is interesting in itself, but its Masterworks artful sculpting and beautiful designs that make these rides true pieces of art.
Masterworks has priced the bicycles at around $7,000
