Pseudo-Victorian mechanical “steampunk” insects
You would have seen some rather remarkable steampunk designs else were in the pages of Gizfactory.com, but this is by far one of the most remarkable collection of Pseudo-Victorian mechanical steampunk. American Sculptor Mike Libby, creates robots made out of carcasses of dried insects which have mechanical attached to it. The mechanical components, comprising of various gears and cogs come from antique pocket watches and wrist watches procured from around the world.
Each of Mikes creation is unique, taking the sculptor countless hours perfecting them. And yes, you certainly can buy them, prices range from $600 to 2500 each.

Very well done! It\'s really good to pnrseet so many different perspectives on the genre, as there are (as with any subculture!) people who like to nitpick with so many different takes on the issue, it\'s nicer and more of a group effort to define it via the common ground between us. Thanks, and thanks also to the other sellers featured I loved reading everyone else\'s inspirations and ideas.
